How often you need to refill the fresh water tank depends on your pet's weight and daily water intake.

As a general guideline:

• Cats typically drink 40–60 ml of water per kilogram of body weight per day.

Example:

• A 5 kg (11 lb) cat drinks approximately 250–300 ml per day.
• The 3.5 L fresh water tank can therefore provide enough water for around 12 days (for one pet under normal conditions).

Note:
If multiple pets use the fountain or during hot weather, you'll need to refill the fresh water tank more frequently.
